  1. Open Settings → Connectors and click Add custom connector.
  2. Paste the URL https://mcp.travelminds.ai/mcp and click Add.
  3. Click Connect and sign in with Google when the popup appears.
  4. Enable the connector in your chat's tools menu, then just ask a travel question.

Connector won't add or doesn't appear

Custom connectors need a paid plan

  1. Custom (remote) connectors require a paid Claude plan (Pro, Max, Team, or Enterprise) — on Free, "Add custom connector" won't appear.
  2. Use the exact URL https://mcp.travelminds.ai/mcp (including /mcp).
  3. Make sure you're on the latest Claude desktop/web build.

Sign-in fails or "invalid token"

Refresh the connection

  1. Disconnect and reconnect the connector — this re-runs Google sign-in and issues a fresh token.
  2. Complete the Google popup fully and allow the email/profile scopes.
  3. Tokens are long-lived, so this is normally a one-time step.

Claude isn't using the tools

Enable, then invoke

  1. Turn the connector on in the chat's tools menu.
  2. For a place Claude knows well, name the connector: "Use TravelMinds to plan…" — otherwise it may answer from memory instead of calling the tools.
